GiN Review: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs

GiN writes: "With the release of any kid oriented movie these days it seems that a multi platform video game also oriented towards kids must follow. Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs is no different. However this particular game seems to shine a bit brighter than some of its recent counterparts.

It's better than most games like this for three reasons. First of all Dawn of the Dinosaurs is a compliment to the story and isn't a rehash of the movie. Secondly, three of the major voice actors in the movie Manny (Ray Romano), Ellie (Queen Latifah) and Sid (John Leguizamo) lent their voices to the game. And finally the game play is really appropriate for the intended age range of the movie."

Nintendo Okie: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs Review

Nintendo Okie writes: "Video game based upon an existing movie license are generally looked down upon in the gaming world as a simple cash in to get money from an unsuspecting consumer, and a lot of times that may be true. Going into Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs you could have assumed you would be getting the same thing yet again; you'd be wrong. While it is true that the game doesn't break any new ground in any way, it is still a fun romp through the environments of the prehistoric era alongside the characters of the Ice Age franchise."
