A look at this week's news from the world of MMOs, including Aion, Warhammer Online, World of Warcraft, Fallen Earth, Guild Wars 2, Star Trek Online and Final Fantasy XIV.
Final Fantasy XIV fans can now properly benchmark their PCs and check out some of what's coming to their game this summer.
Blizzard Entertainment has announced the opening of beta registrations for “World of Warcraft: The War Within,” inviting players to explore new subterranean worlds beneath Azeroth.
Richard writes: Final Fantasy XIV Online on Xbox is built for newcomers.
Despite the problems, Aion's got off to a cracking start. I see good things for that game. Notice how no one's really said anything bad about it :)
The girl in black is back! :)
Warhammer Online looks to be slipping badly. Not that I know from personal experience, never played it. Just didn't appeal to me.
Aion looks good though.
there are still mmos other than wow? why do they bother?
I think they're on the ball with the Aion stuff. Nothing really has a "good" launch but it actually seems like they know what they're doing.
