NZGamer: Need for Speed: Nitro - Hands On

NZGamer writes: "Looking like the weird adopted red-headed child of the NFS franchise, Nitro is a bit of a breath of fresh air at GCA. The event has been dominated by high-powered business talk, so to see a game that is all about gamers is really very refreshing. I managed to get some hands-on time at the EA stand, to race my way through a couple of tracks."

The Good: Totally loose and insanely fun.

The Bad: No comparison to a real racing sim.

The Ugly: The graphics.

Zentendo: Need For Speed Nitro Review

Had Nitro been given online capabilities the score would have been higher just on merit. But the lack of it, coupled with the "meh" presentation and production values makes this Need for Speed a hot rod with nothing impressive under the hood.
