I don't know if this is harsh or not. If you own all the Halo 3 multiplayer maps ODST may not have a ton of value, and the package will seem over priced at $60. If it was for $40 then it deserves atleast 85 average review score.

I just think it's hilarious that all these dumb Sony only owners are in articles of a game they don't want to play on a console they don't own. Maybe that's why ODST is such a HOT game. It's way hotter than perfect Uncharted 2, which I'll be playing as well. Hmmm.

I've had a 360 since LAUNCH, and guess what? It hasn't scratched a single game of mine. Hmmmm. Maybe if you didn't pick up your console and throw it around, you wouldn't get scratched discs.

Yep, I think this is too low, but all the 9+s are too high, so I guess it balances it out. It seems like 8 is the sweet spot for spinoff Halo games that reviewers are scared to give an honest review of. Actually, if the SP is amazing I think it will be worth an 8... guess I'll have to rent it and find out.

Yeah I think it is a bit harsh. From the GT video review, the game looks good and should get 8s across the board, but after seeing sites giving it 9.5 I think I welcome reviews like this to even out the scores.

Probably the only accurate review. I mean honestly, how can all these game sites say that this Halo rehash is on the same level or better than something like Killzone 2 or Uncharted 2? It's just criminal what these idiot reviewers are doing to gaming.

I was waiting for this to see how much halo could get away with and yup its happened. Killzone 2 added so much depth but was nitpicked to hell. You know what game I prefer. I always remember if a fps doesnt innovate its generic but with halo its ok to be the same amazing concept here.

KZ2 raised the bar very high and it was nitpicked to death. I want to see consistency in those reviews, not only for ODST but MW2.

BEFORE KZ2 graphics did matter, AI did matter, now is all about gameplay? come on. A 9/10 game needs to push boundaries both technically and gameplay-wise.

Honestly, I don't think they understand what it's like to pay $60 for the game and then play it. If someone handed me the game and was like "here you go", I would probably think "hey, the campaign's nice and the firefight mode's fun". But if I had to actually pay $60 for it, that'd be a different story.

i laugh, but you're on to something. i agreed, i mean ratchet and clank quest for booty was short and it went for 15, sure it didn't have maps and such but its graphics and story did make up for what it lacked.

better production. killzone 2 got nitpicked to death, yet it had better production volumes and yes its had its shared or new tricks and such. Meanwhile this game seems like a rush job something to get out there to the fans of the series until a real full fledged game is ready(just my opinion). its like someone said, if you already have all these halo 3 maps than this game shouldn't be priced at 60. but i guess its all subject to tastes and preferences.

me personally i would give it a rent first than go from there.

-4 hours campaign(6 hours if u search through mombasa for ad.content)
-4 coop,nothin special,gears done it,resistance 8 coop(the best coop this generation)
-halo 3 mp maps
-same gameplay

is not worth 60$.
