I have to agree if the story is as action packed as IW makes it out to be, then yes! That coupled with a better online experience than COD4? It has to be game of the year. Uncharted 2 is right there as well imo. I just think MW2 could deliver the same online as MW and still beat Uncharted 2's online experience. Now the story is up in the air. Uncharted DF. had a better story line than COD4 but MW2 looks so action packed. Either way I'll have both of the games to play. It's going to be a good holiday season this year.

This game does look embarassingly bad.

Obviously a multiplatform Call of Duty game was never going to be anywhere remotely near Killzone 2 type graphics. But if I didn't know which platform this footage was comging from I would have assumed it was a Wii game.

Yeah I agree its that blood effect that gets on the screen from taking damage that is just annoying and its hella ugly too. They need to just remove that or make it like CoD4. Seriously, get rid of it Infinity Ward.

Anyway this mode doesnt seem all cracked up like I thought it would be.

just why did you find KZ2 black and white to be bad/a mess? it wasn't intruding on the game and it let you know when you were near death without obscuring your view of the action. UC games use the same system except they add a heartbeat too. i don't see the problem.

Its not the blood affect. Its just once you get near death, I cannot see a thing. Maybe its just me, but it gets really hard to see. I would say that I should just avoid being shot, but KZ2 online is a warzone and there are always explosions going off nearby.

I play all of my online games on my 360, I just like the experience better. I play Socom and Uncharted 2 online for the PS3(obviously). I just like the 360 experience better overall

Graphics don't look too bad, nothing outstanding, nothing dreadful.

I will buy this second hand because in all honesty I am not giving Activision money untill they change. I'd pirate it if they put and anti second system in it, I'll pirate it on PC, Activision is what will efectively cause the second gaming crash.

Im in Uncharted 2 beta and I love the Modern Warfare game and will definatly buy this but i don't think we can say which online is better because they are too different. The gameplay of MW2 will be the same as MW so we can tell how they will fare against each other.

Don't say that this games multi-player is better cos i just played a game on Uncharted 2 online and its fun, cover system, climbing, shooting and modes are all amazing and the same will go for MW2 but a person can't say which is better in terms of multi-player fun. Graphics, Story, Co-op and so on is definatly better in Uncharted 2 and because of this i think it should get GOTY and if it doesn't it will only be because MW2 sells more. I don't see any other reason.

STOP the fanboy crap and get both games. i don't even know why there are fanboys when it comes to games like Uncharted 2, Killzone 2, MGS4 (EPIC) and MW2. GET a PS3 or stop playing games. im just saying this cos i like MW2 and so does another 12 million other people and they will love Uncharted 2.

Although MW general gameplay is very twitchy and cartoony, the settings, sounds, weapons, character animation etc give the >> IMPRESSION << of real world combat - which it clearly isn't. Just the impression.

I guarantee with a bullet in your arm or torso, your vision will be a bit blurred. Understatement. Let alone the unbearable pain and reduced functionality & mobility.

Who the hell did IW hire to do the beta or testing for feedback? I feel the activision head that idiot might hv hired few wii players and paid them pennies so to save money.

If they had asked actual fps gamers i'm sure many would have opted to change the strawberry syrup splash on screen damage depiction. But still if its there we can't do anything about it. Its gonna kill ODST and any other MP game for online play out there this year.

Did that prison shower area remind anyone of the movie The Rock? That was my favorite movie when it came out, even though it is terrible in its own way.

I really enjoyed COD4 and MW2 is getting good press so far, but that jelly stuck on the screen could get annoying if it happens everytime you get shot in mp.
