The Lost Gamer writes "There has been much talk lately in the games press about Cryptic's new MMO Champions Online, with most of it sounding very impressive indeed, leaving many a PC gamer salivating at the mere thought of some of the features which are to be included in the game. We've been incredibly fortunate to have had access to the Beta for the game as well as more recently playing the full retail version, and we are glad to say that we weren't disappointed.
The universe in which the game is set is taken from the much loved pen and paper role playing game, Champions, first published by Hero Games in 1981 and fans of the table top game will be pleased to see many of the publications non-player characters being featured in this new online conversion."
