The latest instalment in the best-selling series, Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time challenges players to play as both Ratchet and Clank as they attempt to reunite and save the universe.

was the first of this series I played and I didn't regret it. The humor, storyline, graphics make it a stunning game. I expect even more so this time around. They have managed to create an interactive environment like a movie and tell stories that all ages can enjoy. No doubt this will be a first day purchase for me.

I'm going to be honest, I think the series is "tired", but this one looks really good. Looks how it supposed to look now. Question is, will it play the same?

Regardless though, Insomniac needs to produce a new IP. This series has run its course.

The only negative about Ratchet and Clank is the game speed. I don't want it to be Sonic fast, but a little speed boost would be nice.

Other than that once again this game looks amazing and I'll be buying it not day 1, but sometime this year.

@ likedamaster : I don't feel that this series is tired at all. I have played it since the first game and I love each new adaption. Insomniac learns from each game and improves on it.

@ Multi-Console Owner : I am assuming (Yes I know it is bad to assume) that either they are xbox fanboys or people assumed that you were saying how it would be all movie and no gameplay like people do to insult MGS4. Or they could have just really not like the graphics, but I believe that is improbable

hey "likedamaster"...... .the series is tired? ToD was great. i loved the story plus the weapons were wacky and fun. the enviroments were lush and amazing........ and capt. quark was (as always) hilarious.

No, cause they (Insomniac) have released two R&Cs before, and based on that + what we know so far, this new game is just outstanding, improving on everything the other two games have shown so far (and based on the PS2 heritage of the game). And besides, not much competition out today for current gen consoles, these days (which is a real pity, IMO).

It looks absolutely no different from the first game. Why would I want this garbage compared to games like Mass Effect 2, Alan Wake, Halo 3: ODST and Forza Motorsport? If I want a good platformer I'll consider getting Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction was a disappointment and it's sequel Quest for Booty was just as bad as the original. The weapons were let-downs, it's bosses were laughable, the platform challenges ranged from boring to bland and the level looks were generic.

I'll get you Playstation Loons credit, you know how to hype your games games even if it's nothing. By all means disagree with me but you are not going to accomplish anything, just like your inferior system. You are nothing.
