What ever happened to Capcom's Onimusha series, where is Onimusha 5? The last we heard from the series was back in 2006 with Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams on PS2. VGB stories the recent history of a Capcom series gone missing.
Wirebot: "Okay. I’ve actually been more mad at Capcom than I have at Square Enix ever since they launched Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Crisis Core was infuriating. As a fan, I was not particularly happy seeing JPOP star Gackt star as a supersoldier. But Capcom has committed more atrocities than the simple mis-casting of celebrity figures. It has outsourced a huge amount of its triple-A franchises.
Capcom’s well known ones would be: Devil May Cry, Onimusha, Mega Man, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Breath of Fire, Viewtiful Joe - in my book at least.
And the fate of them?"
A company can do whatever it wants. Just like you can either buy their game or not.
Dino Crisis 3 was the lastest installment that we’ve ever seen, and that was for the Xbox which was way back in 2003. And as for Onimusha the latest one that was released was way back in 2006 for the PS2.
Dino Crisis 1 was the best series i've played :D
And for Onimusha 1 and 2 where the ones I liked
i guess capcom wants to spoil us with shovelware before they remake these franchises
Hey if they suprised us with the sf vs tekken and 3rd strike.
I'm sure they will for dino crisis and onimusha and hopefully a new resident evil game.
Master Samo writes: "In the final chapter of this epic journey, we will uncover the last piece of the puzzle. We will conclude by unveiling all the possible announcements to be made from Microsoft at E3 09 and throughout the rest of the year. The announcements will include the expected, the predicted, and the rumored. Mark my words, you would not want to miss what is about to be unveiled."
