What ever happened to Capcom's Onimusha series, where is Onimusha 5? The last we heard from the series was back in 2006 with Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams on PS2. VGB stories the recent history of a Capcom series gone missing.

A company can do whatever it wants. Just like you can either buy their game or not.
Dino Crisis 3 was the lastest installment that we’ve ever seen, and that was for the Xbox which was way back in 2003. And as for Onimusha the latest one that was released was way back in 2006 for the PS2.
Dino Crisis 1 was the best series i've played :D

True but also thinking about it, given their poor track record of late, maybe it's for the best if they don't try to make sequels to those.
after what happened with DMC4 as much as I'd love to play both these franchises again there is a good chance Capcom would screw it up
I'd really like a sequel to Dino Crisis or Onimusha, both great series.
But I think I'd rather someone else do it. Capcom have been absolute pants lately. Everything they touch turns to sh!t. They would probably manage to make something worse than Dino Crisis 3 if Capcom tried to make the 4th one themselves.
Hopefully there's some developer out there who's a huge fan, and they buy the rights to make a game or two. It happened with Fallout.
remember dino crisis 3 for xbox they already screwed up that was so bad they didnt even port it to ps2, they can only fix it. lol dinos in space what a stupid idea.
