From the review: "The game has you playing as Marker Man (a stick figure), in search of his missing dog, Doodle. He has to travel through 170 levels to find him. Each level has a hand drawn look to it. Even the background looks like graph paper. It's a nice touch. The music, on the other hand, isn't so nice. This is one of those games that if you are going to play it, you better do so with the volume off."
The Game Guys have officially opened up voting for the 2nd Annual Game Guys' Gamers' Choice Awards. Everybody who votes is entered into a contest to win one of five system-specific prize packs. Each prize pack contains two system-specific games and one accessory, except for the PC prize pack which contains three PC games.
Is it sad that I care less about the actual voting than I do winning the free games?
Not all games are created equal: Some are gems, some are turkeys. Here's a quartet of turkey titles to avoid like that fruitcake your great aunt's gonna give you for Christmas.
That's a really tame list. Haven't heard of 3 of them, and didn't know the 4th was getting a PS2 port. Where's the undisputed turd of the year, "Tony Hawk: Ride"?
Why pick shovelware to put on this list? Put big name turkeys like WET or Ninja Blade
i thought this game might be fun, like drawn to life.
i thought you could draw stuff and it would stay, but it doesn't. it falls to the ground, plus you can only draw basic shapes and you can't pick them up either. need a stair case? have fun drawling tons of squares and drawling them so they fall on each other in the right way.
Game Guys writes: "Anyone who remembers Mario Paint on the Super Nintendo system knows painting or drawing on a game system is hard. But if done right though it could be tons of fun.
Marker Man Adventures tries to turn the stylus into a doodle pad and game but it misses the mark."
