Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver Leaked Online

TGS writes: "Reports has surfaced that the soon-to-be released Pokemon Heart Gold & Soul Silver have both been leaked online.

Whilst we don't encourage pirating here at That Gaming Site, it appears ROMs for both games have popped online just days before the game is released on September 12."

I doubt this will stop the game from selling 1 million copies hours after release.

raiden_935375d ago

As it reads in the news story, the first shipment of the game has been accounted for by preorders so yeah this will sell like crazy!

menoyou5375d ago

This game is worthless without a proper online battle function. And friend codes are not proper functionality.

Neo Nugget5375d ago

I want the U.S version to come out soon :(

Elven65375d ago

I haven't played a Pokemon game since Blue, I've always wanted to try out the newer ones but just never got around to it. If the reviews are god, I might try this.

uie4rhig5375d ago

now im just not sure whether i will be buying a DS/DSi for this or whether im downloading the rom!..

J@D5375d ago

Well, sadly u need 2 wait like 6 to 8 months for that. Only a miracle could make this game available for holiday (December) which is the best idea for Nintendo US division if they want to selling to crazies grandma, grandpa, moms and pops around US during holiday... I can see it (cat fights fight it for a game case) bwahaha.

StylizedPlayer5375d ago

The DS pokemon games are just about the best pokemon you'll ever get. Silver used to be my favorite one but then Platinum came out, It brought the longest playtime because of the sheer amount of thing to do. I'll probably download the Japanese version then buy it here in the U.S

Still my favorite Pokemon game. I love how you're able to go back from Johto and Kanto. I hope Nintendo makes a Pokemon game where you can travel to all regions.

Lumpyguy5375d ago

But entirely predictable. Piracy is everywhere.

As for me, I'm going to buy both versions (as I've bought all pokemon games and versions so far) and download digital copies to store on and play from my flashcard.

Only problem now is, I didn't have a chance to preorder the Japanese versions so I don't know if I'm able to get those until next batch is released... -sigh-

Redempteur5375d ago

well this won't do that much damage .

First the rom is in japanese ..
Second the versions available are a difficult match against the Preniums goods with the games ...

Uppernine5375d ago

well they already made a English patch for the rom

Sometimes you just need to move ahead and erase old game saves.

Lon3wolf2121d ago

Indeed especially when it is someone else's save files on a cartridge that they have sold on.

PhoenixUp2121d ago

This won’t be an issue on Switch when you can have one save file per account, meaning players can finally abuse the trading system

WeedyOne2121d ago

You really shouldn't give a shit about another gamer's save file on a used game you purchased... While its fun to walk in another's shoes for a bit you shouldn't feel guilty about erasing the save file. I mean if they cared about the time invested and keeping the save file i'm sure they would not have sold the game for pennies on the dollar to a used game store. Please wipe the save and start your own adventure. Game on!

franwex2121d ago (Edited 2121d ago )

I bought a used Final Fantasy Tactics for the Gameboy Advance and it has a save file of about 300 hours in it.
I feel guilty about deleting that file, luckily I can start my own separate one. I am hoping once I do and beat the game and compare my party to the previous player's and see what we did differently.

Why We're Still Playing Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver

NL:
With each new generation of Pokémon, the overall number of Pokémon in the National Dex has climbed far beyond the original 151. Obviously, Pokémon has been spread over multiple generations of hardware, and this has further made it more difficult to "catch 'em all". On the Game Boy Advance, Game Freak began a method of alleviating this somewhat with remakes of the first generation games, giving gamers a more streamlined method of collecting the original Pokémon. This was continued on the DS with remakes of the second generation of games, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.

Best games in the series to be honest.

Flare1493012d ago

Because if you play it like I do and are constantly adding newly caught Pokemon to your lineup it takes an eternity? Thank goodness for EXP share in the later games haha
