"There are several campaigns to work through, each placing you at the turning points of the battle for air dominance over Europe. You start off in Dover, getting your basic flight training in the Hurricane, moving to the Spitfire for more intense training. As soon as you've got the hang of flying, you're asked to intercept bombers, and it's here the game begins proper."

Unfortunately certain genres didn't receive any representation at all and act as glaring holes in the Vita’s software library. The Publisher of GoozerNation recently had the opportunity to play IL-2 Sturmovik, not because he wanted to, but because his 5-year old son accidentally purchased the game for him through XBL. And because of Microsoft's draconian law of No Refunds, he settled in to play the combat flight simulator that released a little over two years ago. As a result, he was pleasantly surprised at how fun, yet frustrating, this value bin game could be.
Love aereal combat. I think I played some of that in a scene of World at War taking out battleships. If this game is as fun, I would like to play that.
This is a stunning-looking game. I just can't get used to the idea of playing a flight sim on a pad.
Would be nice if you could unlock a new airplane design and/or new weapons after completing the game, to add replayability.
