HellDescent writes: "Since the recent announcement of God Of War 1 and 2 being ported into the HD world for the PS3 on Blu-ray, many people have already started to wonder, "What other games will get this treatment?" We all know Sony have dropped backwards compatibility for some time now and has no plans to ever bring it back. But could re-releasing a game series in Blu-ray become a new trend?
A breakdown of the best Silent Hill Characters that inspired and frightened gamers.
Estelle Mejia says: Silent Hill, for those who don’t know, is a psychological horror survival series that has declined somewhat. Fans point to the fact that the original team who helmed Silent Hill 1-4, named Team Silent, has been split, either working on different games for Konami or leaving the company altogether. This has left the series without a consistent team to helm the series for about 20 years, give or take.
The 2024 Game Anniversaries include some major titles including Half-Life 2, Uncharted 2, and Minecraft.
This would kick major behind. I think this isnt a bad idea at all since they dont want to add BC to the latest PS3 might as well re-release most PS2 games in bluray so that we the ones who havent been lucky to play PS2 games can enjoy them.
Of course it will be the new trend, that's why there is no BC. It much more profitable to sell the games again as opposed to let us play what we already own.
Bad stuff here. Sony is screwing their customers.
I would poop myself if they "restored" the silent Hill Series and maybe brought the original Silent Hill up to at least PS2 level graphics..
Silent Hill 2 to was the first thing I dreamed about with this HD remaster thing
