Punch werewolves to death, literally - Flytrap Games

Flytrap writes: "Guess what Vox Populi, Vox Dei is about (don't look at the screenshot). With a title like that, I'm sure you're thinking either "severely humourless word game" or "jargon-heavy Tolkein-inspired role-player".

Whereas Weremsoft's Kongregate debut is, in fact, a stealthy side-scroller in which you pounce on werewolves (using down key and space bar) and bludgeon them with your bare hands till there's nought left but a bloody, shattered ribcage. Frightened of dogs? This here's the perfect antidote.

Your character's ex-girlfriend has been kidnapped by the beasties. Rather than letting the heartless, frigid cow rot in their clutches, you've got to do the honorable bit and rescue her. This basically involves murdering any bipedal furry things you encounter.

Unlike traditional werewolves, these ones carry guns. Let them see you, and you'll be lucky to escape in one piece. Tapping control key turns your character invisible, a trick you can keep up indefinitely providing you don't bump into anybody.

The gameplay is thus of the hide-and-seek, pick-your-moment variety. Later on you're introduced to things like teleportation pads, which whisk you from place to place but disable your invisibility cloak."
