Three months ago, THQ and Volition released Red Faction: Guerrilla on the consoles. A sequel to 2001's shooter set on Mars, Guerrilla cast players as a new member of the re-created Red Faction movement as they attempted to liberate the planet from the Earth Defense Force. Featuring a ton of destruction in the single player campaign, engaging multiplayer modes and a striking visual presentation of structures being pulverized, Guerrilla was an impressive title and was lauded for its "free-form demolition and unpretentious entertainment" by IGN's own Charles Onyett.
While console owners have been saving Mars for a while now, PC owners will get their chance to make a mark on the Red Planet in a few weeks, as THQ is bringing Guerrilla to computers everywhere.
From GameWatcher: "THQ Nordic has announced that the remastered edition of Red Faction Guerrilla will be released for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 3rd July."
