Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 List of Perks?

There seems to be a list of perks for Modern Warfare 2, and also some image icon of the perks, check them out.

I don't know about the knife one I mean they should of just left it how it is melee knifing. not throwing I mean this isn't a ninja game its a war game.

I just hope they allow individuals to setup public matches and turn on/off whatever they like, perks, kill streak bonuses, set health, set available weapons, kill cam on/off, et cetera.

yeah not a fan of public set ups. you seem like you want his to be another game, keep the CoD style as is.

But like you say some perks just shouldnt be allowed in some cases. I mean the timing in real life to preform a martyrdom would have to be impeccable. Like predicting the second your going to die.

as for the 'Wing shoes' perk i would almost be willing to put money on it being a higher jumping perk, like they had in the Mercenary playlists in CoD4, probably to help you clear higher fences or some crap like that.

Haven't they learned their lesson from the negative feedback it recieved in CoD4 and World at War? People don't like martyrdom. People don't want martyrdom. The last thing people want when they kill someone is to doe from their martyrdom!!!

Never use is myself, but a simple remedy would be that the "martyr" has to press a contextual button in the first second after being killed in order to facilitate pulling the pin on the grenade so to speak, that way it isn't a freebie.

The player should have to DO something, as with last stand (which is overpowered by the way), in order to get points, not just die!

Martyrdom is hardly difficult to avoid, just don't run over a corpse when you kill someone.

in a normal TDM martyrdom is no prob.
but HQ or domination it becomes a pain.If its ground war domination you could probably get over 10kills just with martyrdom.

Anyway the worst perk is definitely frag x3.

I like that idea cyclindk about having to press a button or something as you die. Like the other guy said Martyrdom is easy to avoid in the team deathmatch modes. It is in the objective modes where it gets annoying. I have been killed tons of times trying to capture a flag on domination, an enemy runs up, I kill him, his martyr grenade drops, and then I die. Most of the time you are prone when trying to capture a flag and you cannot get up and run away fast enough. And as for trying to pick up the grenade and throw it away, forget it. It rarely ever falls in your "pick-up" range so you have to like move around for a second or two, try and find it, then toss it. It doesn't work that often. Anyways I hate Juggernaut more, it grates on my nerves.

Sounds like they're "noobifying" it even more. Realism isn't a word you can use to describe the multiplayer of CoD games anymore.
Not that it was all that realistic to begin with but they're taking it a little far don't you think?

edit: You're right it is fun (and I keep playing it now and again for a quick game on PC) but I got kind of bored once I hit level 40ish and I hate people not following server rules especially with grenade launchers in killhouse.

MW2 is last on my list of games to get at the moment if I even get it at all.

All this stuff sounds pretty cool, a little gimmicky, but as long as the game is balanced it'll be a helluva good time!

And if you don't like it just go back to CoD4.

I just want to make sure, the price only went up on the PC version in the states, and the all versions in the UK correct? So, the 360 and PS3 versions are still $59.99?

yep that's correct... question is this; If everyone in the UK runs out and buys the game as most will anyway, for how much longer do you think the price will remain $59 in the US ? they raised the price of the PC version, they are waiting and if it sells well the price hike will be seen as a sucess. the next big game to come out may just push the price up everywhere else.

stopping power=40% extra damage
juggernaut =33% extra health
in the end its equal,1 bullet less to kill,1 bullet more to die.

I have no idea why you guys think that juggernaut is a noob perk.

With Stopping Power - it becomes fun to hose down some fool who's using Juggernaut. It's more satisfying than a one shot kill.
And dodging a martydom blast is always a thrill.
The perks make COD4 awesome. Even the cheap/nooby ones.
