For your information, the EyePet has been around before Microsoft has showed the Natal to the public. And this isn't the answer for Natal. The answer for natal is the PS3 motion control. And if you haven't noticed, your last paragraph was really inappropriate. Also, this isn't for kids. If it was, then the Wii would be for kids. But the Wii is for casual gamers. This IS a casual game. Not a game for kids. Heck, even 20 year old males in the gamer zone says that this is cute.

i know that, but alot of ps3 AND 360 fans diss the wii, and now look whats happening, that was my point, everyone disses casual, but sony/mircrosoft realize they need it to draw more people to those consoles, it will be harder for people to claim their console is HARDCORE!!!!, now that they will all have a casual element ( for those that want it)

There is a plethora of hardcore games on the PS3 and it's well known for having a healthy diversity in it's library unlike the wii that throws scraps to it's traditional gamer base while it embarrasses it's new non-traditional gamer base a plenty.

This is shown clearly at gaming events like E3. Sony (and yes, I'll even say MS) primarily show off main stream games for gamers and sprinkle their events with casual gaming stuff. However, Nintendo dedicates over 80% of their events on casual gaming stuff and only at the end throw out the regular already known helping of gaming stuff for it's hardcore base.

Nintendo didn't start casual gaming, Playstation did in the PS1 & PS2 era. Nintendo has capitalized on the casual market and it's worked great for them but they aren't the pioneers in this market just the first to see this kind of massive success with it.

This video looks cool and lovable. EyeToy is targeting the Wii userbase. It's ok for me Sony pushes the casual market while it keeps producing mature content, regular controller games.

This stuff is really d@mn cute. I hate it for making me say that lol. Doubt it will be first day buy for me or anything, but I will get it eventually. Just got too many other games to buy this year to mark this down as a day one too. Maybe early next year or around Christmas. My nephew and girlfriend both would absolutely go apesh*t over this I bet though lol And I do have to admit, I'd probably find some enjoyment too just interacting with it cause this looks too d@mn cool. Something that's cheesy but you have to enjoy just because of the technical feat that it is.
