Aion Open Beta Test Dated

NCsoft has announced the dates of the open beta test for its upcoming MMO, Aion.

Players can test out Elyos and Asmodian characters from the 6 to 13 September. Players on the pre-select and Headstart programs get access to the live servers shortly afterwards, before regular players.

I have heard good impressions about this game in the past weeks. Wonder why it is called the wow killer. Is there much more beyond nice graphics?

Oh yes, there certainly is. It's a proper full game. It's not a WoW killer, I don't think anything can be, bar something released by Blizzard, but it's going to be very popular IMO.

I don't think I've heard anyone referring to it as a WoW killer. I too have heard nothing but good to great impressions from people who've played it.

heckyes! my gf missed the beta now she can try it out even tho we're gettin it anyway, the only thing that will kill me is being lvl 1 again wen game releases lol i'ma miss my wings :( but to make t fresh im playin a class i wont use when full game launches :)

know if the OB you have to pre order or pay etc if not be nice if som1 can link me a download site for the OB client. I know to get head start on Aion u need preorder but im still lost on how to get into the beta.

I miss playing MMOs, the last one I played was probable RF (Rising Force) back in 2006. Hope this will be really good.
