New Kingdom Under Fire II In-Game Screenshots

These new screenshots not only show our heroes in mid-combat, hacking their way through hordes of amazingly detailed orcs, trolls and giant scorpions, but also unveil new characters not previously revealed, such as a white-bearded dwarf and numerous enemy troop types, alongside what appears to be an enemy character. More details on these, and other promised characters, are expected to be released very shortly.

Environment is a 720P version of the original KUF on the old Xbox.

The draw-distance looks improved, however, and the effects look great. Hopefully the frame-rate is better than the old game as well.

Edit:

Just saw the videos: Looks much better in motion than in stills. There's enough on-screen action that one doesn't really notice the weaker aspects of the visuals.

I want to see a game running of an engine that designed for the Xbox360 hardware.

I mean there is games like this and Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect2, and Bioshock2 which use old builds of the Unreal Engine and manage to look awesome.

But those screenshots are amazing.

Kingdom Under Fire is what made me buy the original Xbox in the first place.

they are from the 360 build. Characters look good. Environment does not. From the looks of it, this engine is unlikely to make your 360 overheat but they've done a good job with managing their available assets to emphasize the things that the average person notices first.

Enjoy what........so what if they tell you it will be on the PS3 as well. I remember when GI posted Killzone 2 for the 360 or the Forza 3 ads as a PS3 title. So far the game has only been confirmed for PC/360.
So keep wishing maybe someday soon it will be. BUT highly doubt it since Blueside has never even said that there will be a PS3 version.

The first one? You mean the first 2 that were on the original xbox. KUF crusaders was also awesome. The only KUF game that sucked was circle of doom on the 360, GOD only knows why they would release that trash when the KUF series was so damn awesome.

Can't wait for this game. I have been following this game since it was first announced. Day 1 purchase for me.

This game looks amazing.

FAME Tech 2 engine should be something JRPG developers should look into because this by far has the best RPG look that should be implemented in many RPGs.

This game has an MMO mode online.

So around the release of this game PM me and we can exchange Gamertags.

All the KUF games have been rated average and below. Hopefully this one will break that curse.

Rule of thumb of developers, if its PC/XB2. Always show the PC graphics first.

Alan Wake first video demo was on a PC. So was Splinter Cell Conviction.

Look it up. Every single XB2 title has a PC lead (DirectX based engine). Hence why they find it a "familiar" territory.

devil, if you've never played it, then the scores don't tell you just how well put together it is. "Average" is not a curse. 90% of games released receive average scores and they're great games.

Barring Bluesides's Circle of Doom, a huge departure from what made the series fresh (RTS elements), the series is fine. Fortunately, the original devs Phantagram are back in the picture so expect this to be much much better than a Dynasty Warriors clone.

I would definitely consider this an underrated franchise. Multiplayer has typically been the most lacklustre feature of the games. It doesn't compare well with other XBL games. Now it will get a complete overhaul to support huge battles. Large enough to be touted as a kind of MMO so that will be awesome.

Oh and sure, the graphics will look good if that's all you guys are concerned about.

I've seen the 360 make better games then this so please don't ever say it rivals anything on the PS3 because it doesn't.
