I signed up for some beta 3d program from (can't recall the company). They were working on a setup that used both the ps3 and 360 hdmi connection as well as 3d glasses (not the cheap red/blue kind) to allow for movies as well as games to be in 3d.

My samsung tv has the port for the 3d transmitter and I just need to get the glasses and the transmitter ($100 for both).

Anyone remember the name of that company?

Downloaded the demo on Xbox live and there is quite a few options far as setting the 3-d stuff. You can have it 3d mode which you have to have the polarized glasses and from there you serveral different options to try to adjust for your TV unless you have a capable 3dTV, such as horizontal which is preferred for LCD tv's. But it has to be ran through HDMI and has to be set to the native resolution of your TV to work properly. Or you can set it to the Red n Blue which isn't that great. Game was ok co-op would be kinda fun for a bit.

Ive played was Xaxxon 3d and Maze Hunter 3d, both for the Sega Master System. I remember the expensive glasses. On the PS2 Ive had the most fun playing 3D in Sly Cooper 3 ( Sly 3: Honor Amongst Thieves). On the PSN I believe its the first but for us old gamers...we tried that with SEGA a long time ago.

Way to go with your English comprehension skills. The title is "PSN Gets its First 3D Game Tomorrow" not "PS3 Gets the First Ever 3D Game On Any Console Ever Ever Ever Tomorrow, So Neaner Neaner Xbox 360". And yes, it's the first PSN game, not the first PS3 game.

3D gaming is overrated, IMO. Until the tech advances further and until it is widely available without lame glasses it is as much of a toy as *cough* Natal *cough*.

Actually, i think both are permissible - least that's what i've been told (and the way i've had it explained to me, makes sense).

'Couldn't care less' is a 'literal' statement that one 'couldn't care less' (with no shades or misdirection) , while ''could' care less' in common use is sarcastic shorthand statement (rhetorical) via the implied question to oneself ''could' i care less?', yes i 'could' (all things are possible, i suppose); ie. the ability to care less being such a line ball thing or requiring reaching for the extraordinary is the mockery.

I don't mind either option; probably prefer the layers of the latter. Non literal speech is usually more emotionally and intellectually interesting (prob why that arch genius, Shakespeare always says what he means, but never means what he says), plus grammarians tend to sh-t me; not yourself (your tone seems sincere), but generally. There's times when the 'literal' and 'rules' aids conversation or explication - ie. you're instead of your or vice versa - there's other times when it's simply trying to square box everyone without the awareness that the ones doing the correctin are actually those who are lacking the subtleties.

UGH this game is so gimped. It would of been 20x better if it was PS3 exclusive. Now I can't get it because it would look too ugly.

Developer Blitz Arcade are so lazy and they suck as developers. If they were any good they would be using all the Cells potential and maximizing the BLUE RAY disk. No doubt they went with digital download to avoid the xbox 360's inferior DVD format.

But if the game was ONLY on PS3 Ghostbusters would of looked just like Killzone 2 and would have been amazing! Didn't you know? If a developer only makes a game for the PS3, it automatically means the game will have 3 times the poly count, good AA, sharp textures, and no installs. Oh and amazing gameplay that can only be provided by having it be on the PS3. I hope you see my logic now.

3D Vision with nvidia stereoscopic 3D has been around for a long time.

and on PC there is over 300 games that can be played in 3D.

games such as gears of war, team fortress 2, assassin's creed, Batman arkham asylum, bioshock, crysis & warhead, call of duty 2, 4 & WAW, dead space and Colin McRae dirt.

the list is huge. games that are being released soon through nvidia's technology can also be played in 3D, only on PC

Track nations had 3d option on PC as well, although i've never played it with glasses, but people are selling tons of glasses on ebay for cheap. actually dam. That game they should bring to PS3.

You'll need red and blue glasses? I hate those. It barely passes as 3d. I tried to watch Coraline in 3D and it was just a red bluish mess. Had to swtich to normal.

Unfortunatly, no. To get Real D quality, the only way is to buy a special TV, which aren't really even on the main market yet. Normal TV's can't project the unique patterns that RealD uses.

Tried to watch a preview of SFIV for the PC along with the 3D support and it basically failed to amuse anyone. I prefer the modern ones used in 4D cinemas.
