Evony have been widely criticised all over the web, and elsewhere, for comment spamming, for plagiarising other games, for lewd advertising techniques etc etc. This has been documented at Bruceongames. Now they are threatening to use the legal system to get the truth about themselves removed from the internet. If they are doing this to Bruceongames they must be trying to do it to all their main critics.
Evony is once again back in the media spotlight with its recent Superbowl TV ad, and credit where credit is due with it's big production values and A list celebrities they crafted a very impressive and epic piece of advertising. With stars like Jeffrey Dean Morgan (The Walking Dead), Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight Returns), Fan Bingbing (X-Men: Days Of Future Past) bringing recognisable faces to the campaign. With the average $5 million price tag just for a 30 second ad during the Superbowl and the multi million dollar production which is planned to span a further 11 episodes throughout the year, the developers Top Games US are certainly putting their all into "The Battle of Evony" ad campaign.
In June 2016; the Evony Gaming Company's official website was hacked resulting in the theft of data for more than 33 Million registered user accounts.

Who am I kidding, I love half naked girls and hate bruce on games.
The problem here is that to defend a libel case in the UK costs a minimum of £100,000.
Taking wintnesses etc to Australia would more than double that.
And Australia has the same old archaic law as the UK where the onus is on me to prove that every single word is the absolute truth.
What I have written is the truth as anybody who follows the links can see, likewise the Guardian.
What Evony are doing here is carpetbombing the web to remove all criticism of themselves no matter how valid.
