IGN:
We've seen plenty of PS3/Xbox 360 cross platform titles. But a title shared exclusively by Wii and PS3 owners is a bit rarer. That's just what Capcom plans on offering with Sengoku Basara 3, Famitsu reveals in its latest issue.
The third installment in the series that's known in the West as Devil Kings, Capcom originally announced Sengoku Basara 3 a few weeks back without sharing platform information. Japanese financial daily Nikkei ran a story last week stating that Wii would be receiving a new entry in the series, with no mention of the PS3. Capcom seemed a bit rattled by the Nikkei report, and now we see why. Both the PS3 and Wii will be getting the new game in 2010. They're both the same game with the same name: Sengoku Basara 3.
The Plagued Gamer writes: "Devil Kings isn’t a game I’d whole heartedly recommend. It’s repetitive, the voice-overs are laughably awful, character design is contrived, and it copies almost blatantly from Koei’s sequel machine Dynasty Warriors. Yet there’s something terribly compelling about it, something that’s hard to just toss effortlessly out the window. With that said, Capcom is releasing the third game this fall. Who needs the second one anyway?"
