We Love To Game: What is it that makes gaining those lovely achievements so great? Is it the sound it makes when it finally unlocks, or is it when you look at your Gamerscore and smile knowing how hard you worked to achieve such a high Gamerscore?

What drives me to them is me wanting to pass my friends gamerscore. I'm just 9000 behind!!!!!!! o.O
I think it usually has people play the game longer, especially for single player games. I just dislike having to do the ones that require you to a backflip and shoot a rocket launcher at the same time; I'm obviously lying.
I whored it for a few weeks, got to 6k, and then got bored of it. I just enjoy playing a game for what it is now. and making the most out of it, achievements or no achievements.
Although I do feel a nice level of satisfaction when I do gain an achievement and that little "Achievement Unlocked" window pops up. :')
