Well...it's done to be as fluid and movie-like as possible and I like it

Later in the game the combat gets much more difficult and so does the detective work. The demo is basically a tutorial.

Want better combat? Play on hard mode and it won't give you any of the telltale signs of their attacks so you can counter.

yeah at times, even the stealth felt tacky and gimmicky, at least it looks great on both the PS3 and the 360

This is a great Demo. I can imagine that the game itself is much more involved and should be a BLAST to play on either system. Great graphics, and imaginative gameplay = Must Buy. I will buy and play and enjoy. Isn't that the point?
P.S. The Wii must be jealous.

I'm not allowed to download the demo for arkham asylum because I'm not an Xbox Live Gold member. What kind of BS is that? Seriously, if Microsoft doesn't make the whole thing free soon I'm going to be really pissed off.

I played it on Both XBL & PSN.I found the graphics, load times & audio were much, much better on PSN.

Not to mention how much faster it downloaded.

The demo was enjoyable. The combat and stealth was smooth and fun but felt a little short of diversity. If they do give you more fighting buttons and more weapons, it will be a phenomenal game.
