"Weapon of Choice" is one Xbox Live Indie Games title that wasn't made in a dorm room. The developer is a ten-year industry vet who decided to go indie. And we should all be grateful he did, because this is a game much too insane to make it through the big-studio dev process. Had it been seized on by a publisher, someone might have asked "Why is all the interstitial text about sheep's right to vote?" and "Do all the enemies have to be so... freaky?"
"Weapon of Choice" basically plays like "Contra" on the brown acid. Your operative runs through a side-scrolling world training a variety of guns on gnarly-looking enemies that spew moldy-looking blood from every toothy orifice as heavy metal guitars shriek your glory. Style is really half the battle when it comes to game design, and "WoC" has it in spades.
