Some of you may have noticed that the Xbox 360's August update touted "Additional Monitor resolutions over HDMI". Some of you may have also noticed that this feature was missing from the preview and subsequently removed from the release notes, leading to much confusion - was it a typo? Was it removed? Would it ever come to the 360?
James K., of Xbox Support, has finally cleared this up on the preview forums:
"In initial update notes you may have noticed or requested the "additional Monitor resolutions" this feature is still being fine tuned which is why it was removed from later updates and has not been rolled out yet, in case your wondering, we do still plan to release this feature but only once all steps have been taken to ensure that it would work to the best of its ability for all of our users. Thanks for your great feedback, it is invaluable to making this the greatest experience possible this post has been placed in multiple sections in the forums in the hope of reaching as many people as have requested information should you have any more questions feel free to send me a PM. "

We've previously seen what we can take off the Prometheans, but what will Master Chief's backup be bringing to the fight in Halo 4?
Quite a lot of old favorites, as well as some new vehicles and an old enemy.
I know there were going to be mechs for a while, but seeing it actually shoot at that ship is so awesome.
Over the years, the Xbox 360 has seen a few revamps for their dashboard. Here's a look at how much has changed over the six years.
It really is amazing how MS transformed the dash from the old (and aged) blades to what we have now. The new dash is by far the best one I have used.
All the new features and apps, wasn't something I expected when I jumped on the Xbox 360 platform way back when.
It didn't evolve at all. It only got worse over time. The first dashboard with the blades was the best one as it was easy & quick to navigate and you had 1 ad tops (which at the time was usually for games or game events like playing the mystery gamer). Now it's hard to find anything but ads on the thing.
A LOT of people still prefer the blade dashboard IDK why. I preferably liked the one before our current one.
360 Magazine: Call Of Duty Black Ops 2, the XBox 720, the end of the console as we know it and crucial future gaming developments.
You mean 'Activision Presents: Man With Gun 2012, Starring Denzel Washington'.
Also, the new Xbox will be called the Ybox. You heard it here first.
Actually Black Ops had more innovation than Mw3, altough i like Mw series gameplay, maps and guns better i have to admit when it comes to innnovation Treyarch is winning the fight over IW. The emblems customization, the weapons customization and alot more were awesome additions to Cod that IW didnt put in Mw3... I wonder why
Epic picture
they need to add 1920X1200 for VGA.
The 360 can't even beat PS3 exclusives released in 2007, how the hell is it going to have better resolutions.
360 exclusives beat the ps3 ones like a red-headed step child.
I thought HDMI wasnt needed? Go figure
