The latest king of thought to stride onto a game cartridge is German maestro Dr. Reiner Knizia. He's got the usual form, with a maths Ph.D, a background in number crunching for financial institutions, and over 200 published board and paper-based games, including the best-selling The Lord of the Rings game.
Now he's hooked up Eidos' own gamesmaster, creative director and Fighting Fantasy gamebook author Ian Livingstone, to create SPY-Q.
As the name suggests, it's a spin on the James Bond jetsetting lifestyle, as you try to track down the evil Dr. Know (hoho). This activity is combined with dozens of brain-straining puzzles as provided by Dr. Knizia.
