GameDaily: Bass Pro Shops: The Strike Preview

GameDaily writes: "Graphically, The Strike blows its predecessors out of the boat with beautiful reflections on and under water with a shifting time effect to emulate the passing day.. The lakes are geographically realistic and feature recognizable landmarks like overpasses and lighthouses. The underwater world is mysterious and well detailed. And of course... the fish make for some handsome trophies.

While it wasn't the most memorable fishing experience we've ever had, it was an acceptable digital recreation of the sport, complete with a surprisingly responsive peripheral and plenty of options. Now we come to the Nintendo Wii version, and while we're happy that Pirahna Games found a way to make the motion controls work, it's unfortunate that nothing else does. As a result, you'll want to throw The Strike back before you're even close to done with it."
