Her Interactive has released new information and screenshots for the 21st instalment in the Nancy Drew adventure game series, Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy, which is launching in October.
In Nancy Drew: Warnings at Waverly Academy, players take on the role of Nancy Drew as she heads undercover at a prestigious all-girls boarding school to discover the culprit behind threatening notes and dangerous accidents that seem to be targeted towards the academy's valedictorian candidates.

Hired to investigate a series of strange notes and shady goings-on of academic sabotage and general intimidation of top students at the exclusive boarding school Waverly Academy, Nancy has to uncover the identity of the mysterious Black Cat before another girl gets hurt. Although the setting and character types are sure to be appealing to the girls HER Interactive is targeting, after a few conversations with your dorm-mates it becomes painfully clear that this game was not written by someone who has much contact with teenage girls. Nance's roommate announces that something is "hinky." To put this in context for you, I had to ask my fifty year-old father what that word meant."
