Ghostbusters Dated For UK

Today Namco Bandai Partners has confirmed the Ghostbusters game will be released on 23 October this year and players can expect to pick up the title on the 360, PC, Wii and DS.

At long last! But does anyone still care enough? The hype for this has died down a lot since the PS3 release.

This game is rubbish. I had some good expectations after the first trailer but I wonder why the heck releasing such a good looking trailer when the game itself looks terrible... like a 1st generation Xbox 360 game... and it even has plenty of slowdowns...

It's especially annoying when you have games like Resident Evil 5 than looks a thousand times better and runs smooth as butter.

The game is not rubbish.

I believe this is one of the best movie based games since Goldeneye (if not better).

This game is everything you wanted for a 3rd movie.

The only disappointment were the glitchy online achievements. That's it.

A solid 8-9/10.

Let alone the fact it flopped sales wise on the PS3, and the 360 USA sales are already greater then the PS3's version LTD.

There was no other choice. Did you read the above? "NAMCO-BANDAI". Who was meant to publish Ghostbusters? Atari. Atari Europe closed down, leaving no-one to publish the game in Europe - NB was set up properly (as they were taking Atari Europe's employees) so Sony was brought in to save the games release.

it might sell better on the 360, multiplats usually do for some strange reason, and there is always the fact that it does not have the graphical issues that the ps3 version had. (people who defend the ps3 like a member of thier family can take that any way they like, its not meant as an offence).

Uncharted is a great game although I think the Ghostbusters brand has more recognition behind it. Atari or Namco (who ever is publishing it now, I lost track!) have a good date because it fits in with the Christmas rush period.

That being said, I'm sure both games will sell great in Europe.
