I didn't know that Sept 11th was a big holiday in the UK.

First, its a Friday - the usual UK release day. It comes out on the 15th in the US, which is a Tuesday...also the regular release day for games.

I think the author is searching for something that just isn't there.

If I saw an advert for RF to be released on 11/9(proper) I would just say oh well ok then but NEVER would I think 9/11 and this game has destruction so I can recreate 9/11. If the advert showed the towers on fire then yes it would be wrong but none the less this isn't bad.
