Pool Hall Pro, the latest collaboration between Playlogic and Icon Games, is a game for the Nintendo Wii that takes advantage of the console's motion controls to create a gaming experience that rivals that of a real life game of billiards. Several developers have tried to recreate the billiards experience for the Nintendo Wii, however often fell short of their goal. The most widely successful game of billiards is part of Nintendo's Wii Play game pack. With tons of gameplay modes to choose from and intuitive controls, it would seem that Pool Hall Pro and the Nintendo Wii is a perfect match in heaven.

In case you’re wondering, Bashi Blocks is an Arkanoid clone that comes with a level editor, Pool Hall Pro is an interesting 3D pool game and Vertigo is a futuristic racing game..."

Who knows, maybe you will end up designing your very own virtual pool hall! I suggest renting Pool Hall Pro and if it weren't for bugs, I would have suggested it as a very solid purchase".
This game looks like it could be alot of fun if you could get past the awkward controls.
Might as well just go to the pool hall, yeah? Though, if you hvae kids, and don't have a pool table, might be kinda nice.
Pool? Hell yes, I used to go to the pool hall all the time. Amazing how kids tend to put a stop to activities like that.

Over the years, there seem to have been enough computer variants that have successfully used physics and trajectory estimators that the end result is an attractive and function game, and I held out my hopes for a similar such creation in the form of Pool Hall Pro.
The good news is that Pool Hall Pro is a pretty attractive billiards game that has more pool games than you can shake a cue stick at, and it adds enough extra little features to make the whole experience more well-rounded. The bad news is that the game suffers from some control glitches that make certain aspects of the game downright frustrating to play."
