The Onimusha series may be long forgotten, but back in the early days of the Playstation 2, there were few moments in gaming more awe inspirin than watching the first Onimusha game or it's sequel in motion.
Where the hell is the next Onimusha game?
anybody else think the character Samanosuke Akechi played by Takeshi Kaneshiro looks a whole lot like Adrien brody?.
This was one of the games my friend's brother showed to us when he bought a PS2 (errr, that is Onimusha 1: Warlords) .
INCREDIBLE to say the least.
Bit Cultures writes: "With the release of the DOOM reboot filling our lives with satanic rituals and demonic invasions, we here at Bit Cultures figured it was only fitting to dedicate this week’s Top 10 to games that deal with dispatching the hordes of Hell."
GamersFTW writes - I still remember the first time I played the Onimusha series, a title which even know is still one of the finest examples of the action-adventure genre.
Great article. I love the original Onimusha.. I never played the sequels but I have to agree re Resident Evil style camera angles adding atmosphere and style. I hope they do remake it!
Loved the proper Onimusha games. The feudal Japan setting with zombies was superb and the combat super smooth. Definitely hope it comes back.
