In the WarioWare franchise, these are referred to as microgames, and essentially the goal of the entire game is to blast through all of these using the stylus, touch screen, and microphone."

These wacky, fast-paced mini-game collections were the perfect way to, not only have some hearty laughs with friends but to show off the more unique and underutilized side of Nintendo hardware. 2010 was a wonderful year for the Wii, thanks to Super Mario Galaxy 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns and Kirby’s Epic Yarn, and that was just retail. There's also had a wonderful collection of downloadable titles via WiiWare, which played host to Sonic the Hedgehog’s comeback and the continuation of the popular Bit.Trip series. So without further ado, we present the ten best WiiWare games of the year.
