Warner Bros and Headstrong Games have teamed up to bring gamers their first Lord of the Rings title - "Aragorn's Quest" for the Wii, PSP, PS2, and DS. At this year's E3 they were showing off the Wii version of the game, and we had a chance to swing by their booth and check out just what they were working on for the next game to come to Middle-earth… or at least Sam's version of it. I am not a big fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy but it is a classic source of inspiration for fantasy stories. Aragorn’s Quest is based on Tolkien’s work and lets you guide the aforementioned hero as he battles the minions of Sauron. Your purpose is to reach the Black Gate of Mordor so that Frodo throws the magical ring of the evil wizard into the lava of Mount Doom and destroys it once and for all.
Nintendo Life - As a hack-'n-slash game based on the famous movie franchise, Lord of the Rings: Aragorn's Quest enters a field that is already well-plowed by earlier releases.
