It goes through the story of how Zack got his start in SOLDIER, how he and Aeris are tied together, and how he came to know Cloud. To say the least, this game has an awesome storyline from beginning to end. It leaves very few things from Final Fantasy 7 unanswered, and it is all acted out very well with many cut scenes thrown in to make everything feel a bit more like you're playing a movie."

Cloud Strife and Zack Fair are two deeply beloved characters in the Final Fantasy 7 universe, but which one is the better protagonist?
Both are great. Zack was the reason how Cloud became who he is, is just a really fun character and had to go through a ton of struggle so I do rate him a bit higher. Can't wait for the two to perhaps fight with or against eachother in the next part or two in the remake games.
