Most open world games seem to stick to familiar places like New York, Los Angeles, and occasionally go to "exotic" locales like Barcelona and South America. It's somewhat odd that after the release of GTA 3 in 2003 that we haven't seen any open world games take players some place different like an entirely different planet. Red Faction: Guerrilla does exactly that and it gives players' full reign to cause madness on the red planet that is Mars.
