A look back at 4A Games' admirably consistent post-apocalyptic shooter franchise.
I'm a huge Playstation fan but I agree that they need a significant price drop. They have the technology and now they have the exclusives, all they need is a good price. I think this is a stunt by activision and I think its stupid that people are bashing them for it but keep in mind everyone, this is all business. Making money is the business for all of these companies. Your feelings come second.
This guy pulls a lot of weight, Sony should listen and consider a price cut.
Hopefully more Dev's will come out and say this and force a much needed price cut.
Sony cannot afford to drop the price. When they can afford to drop the price, they will drop the price. If I'm not mistaken, they've just had a little over $1 billion net loss for the fiscal year. But don't quote me on that. We all just have to face it, introducing new technology is a gamble and costs money. And they need to make that money back as quickly as possible for future investments.
how about a nice game of chess?
i personaly dont think the ps3 needs a price drop. people whine to much the ps3 at 400 dolars is a great deal especially when it goes against an elite 360 for the same price. maybe sony should consider dumbing down the ps3 like no wifi or hard drive and packaging it with a wired controler to compete with the arcade and offer both sku's but for some reason i still fell people will complain
