N+Dpad:
"If you've got your hands on MotionPlus you know how great it is, but why is the peripheral not in the newest Dead Space?"

Can't wait for this game, don't know why people care if it's on rails as much as they do. Still looks fun

qface645428d ago

personally i only like on rails games when im playing with friends

not saying the game is bad just not something i would go running out to buy on the first day

Product5428d ago

I will because of the story. I agree though on rails is def. much more fun with a friend.

N4g_null5427d ago

It's really funny he says this because motion+ is going to be used for any off screen movements and also a 3rd point of reference for the IR which would limit jumping on screen. Hey but maybe he hasn't went that far.... these guys are a little late I wonder what happened?

Oh the game is shaping up to be pretty nice... Really great acting and story telling... stuff like this is why I give kojima such a hard time.

Why is everything a developer says, NEWS now?

Product5428d ago (Edited 5428d ago )

Shrugs shoulders

Product5428d ago (Edited 5428d ago )

lol I'm trying to be nice lately Arius. Here have a bubble.

Gr815428d ago

I've noticed. I've actually gone in the opposite direction lately, must be the crappy NY weather!

Product5428d ago

well Florida isn't any better. We get the afternoon 20 minute showers everyday at the same time.....its the weirdest thing. I heard they stopped the US Open up there because of how much rain there was.

On topic: Dead Space was one of the better games I played last year.

Gr815427d ago

Was great...on the PC lol. I tried playing it on the 360 first..not a good experience. Goes back to what I said about console games playing and looking better on PC nowadays. Watching the walk through on IGN or Gametrailers (I can't tell anymore) I was impressed, On rails are great with a partner and if this had an online co-op component I'd be on this game day one. Still may pick it up though.

Thanks for the bubble, I'm sure I need it after some of the troll battles I've been in recently. lol.

N4g_null5427d ago

Because the developer said it? So is a blog a better source of news? Or better yet the paid media?

as an apology. the motion plus is just going to fix the Wii-mote so it works like it was supposed to. what a scam Nintendo has going on. they sell hardware and a few token games. blah...

Product5427d ago

"the motion plus is just going to fix the Wii-mote so it works like it was supposed to."

It will enhance games....this game among others where you point at the screen don't benefit from MotionPlus.

Nihilism5427d ago

but because of the type of gameplay, motion plus will make a real difference in the shooting accuracy

BrotherNick5427d ago

Maybe you don't understand. First of all, your pointer in a wii fps is the infrared technology. Motion plus won't add any more accuracy. The only reason it's needed in red steel 2 is most likely because of the sword fighting. :)

So it’s my duty to introduce you to the best Dead Space games, and one very, very bad one. Dead Space Extraction better than the original Dead Space?

Okaaaaay...

lucian229637d ago

I played all three. Didn't find them fun, just had nothing to play. I don't think I beat third game though. Combat was super clunky, graphics and art design were ugly imo, story in first game wasn't too bad, rest were meh.

Over hyped series imo, also it doesn't help horror games don't scare me, so I guess that's a big reason for me too.

MIDGETonSTILTS17637d ago

Play Alien Isolation on Hard or Nightmare.

Start on the movie DLC so that you don’t have to play a bunch of campaign in order to find out if you’ll be scared.

lucian229636d ago

I heard that was a good one. Honestly vr games scare me with jump scares because of how the threat feels real.

MIDGETonSTILTS17636d ago

There isn’t an official VR mode, unfortunately.

The audio should pull you right in if you use headphones.

CDbiggen637d ago

Just finished playing the first, enjoyed the fact Isaac was a silent alien crushing psycho doom-guy type. Just started the second yesterday and I'm annoyed he's a talker now and sounds like a regular guy who hasn't been through hell, but I suppose he couldn't remain silent.

VersusDMC636d ago

Dead Space 2 is my favorite followed by 1 then 3. All are good to me though. Just beat all 3 on series X and they hold up.

Xenial636d ago

As simple as 1,2,3.

Extraction, then Ignition.

EA Talks About Closing Visceral And Single-Player Games

The decision to close the studio and shift the focus of the Star Wars game is not a statement about the future for single-player games, EA says.

"'This was just a single-player game [and it] needed to be a live service.'"

What kind of a stupid mindset is that? It didn't need to be a damn live service. Single player games can work and you have the damn Star Wars name attached to it so it will sell well regardless of it having MP or not.

Ashlen2371d ago

How can you say this.

"We are seeing an evolution in the marketplace, and it became clear to us that to deliver an experience that players wanted to come back and enjoy for a long time, that we needed to pivot the design."

And then say this in the very next paragraph.

"It wasn't about, 'This was just a single-player game [and it] needed to be a live service."

I would say "do they really think people are this stupid?" But since people keep buying EA games after all the crap they have done over the years and decades that made gaming worse... I guess, yes, yes they are.
