PlayStation Home Update EU - 06/18/09

PS3-Sense writes: "Today we have a big update for the European PlayStation Home. With a new space and a contest today we finally get more to do in Home."

I dashed to HOME for the free City Apartment (one of the comments just after the topic) but it is £3.99 as usual.

Also we are now back to four HOME locations as the Announcements area seems to have gone..

Home is officially...crap. Update, harhar...

So much potential but all it appears to be is a huge shopping mall full of sh*te you look at once then never go back. RE5 space has a playable game, if you OWN the original game. Everything else in the space is "check back later, this be f*cked right now!"

How about a sega, capcom or konami space with a few retro arcade games to d*ck about on?? Nah...f*ck that so say Sony, lets have a bowling alley with Echochrome, ice breaker and...CARRIAGE RETURN. Honeslty, the excitement...holy sh*t lol.

Its almost like Sony have reinvented the wheel, home has SO MUCH POTENTIAL...yet they have this wheel and its like all the developers are sat around thinking. "WTF we do with this now" ... "oh I know, lets roll it down a hill and just watch"...

mearly everything home got added lately was free, the shops are nearly empty.

spaces, free clothes, minigames (poker, mini siren, etc.) game related spaces, goodies, xi (very cool game).

EA space is a cracking example, im sure you can guess though. We have adverts for NHL 2010, Madden 2010, Tiger Woods 2010...a mini racing game, which I should add i played better racing games on the atari 2600 about 20 years ago...oh and poker, well yea fascinating.

Every company on there could easily put up a few games for people to play on arcade cabs like in the bowling alley, EA have a HUGE back catalogue of game. Instead you get 5 mins cack handed mini games...
