NBA Live Producer promises Live to be ballin'

For a very long time now, fans have expressed their distaste and disconcern for the NBA Live franchise. Everyone will have their own opinion as to when the series started falling off, with some even going to the extremes of saying it was never good to begin with. Whatever side of the ball you're on, you'll probably be interested to know that EA Producer Sean O'Brien shares your pain. It's rare for any developer to flatout admit that their games haven't been good, but conversely, it's rare for a developer to say they won't improve, either.

cant say i believe them. but its good to know they basically acknowledge the reign the 2k9 has has since it dropped. IMO there hasnt been a good live since '95

You can hype your game all you want but im not buying another NBA turd game again. Its 2K or bust. BTW, I will admit that 2K9 had its problems, the menus were confusing and I couldnt find a way to get online, but 2K8 is flawless and is plays better then NBA Live 08 and 09, so I will stick with that until a 2K game comes out that is leaps ahead of 08.

Wow, I actually agree with DragonWarrior for a change.

I didn't think 2K9 was as great as it could've been either. 2K always did piss me off with their stupid menu system, and clipping and animation issues MUST be addressed. Still, even with its flaws, its lightyears ahead of any NBA Live game.

Uncharted2 > Gears of war2

Killzone2, Resistance2 (soon MAG) > Halo franchise

GOW3 > Ninja Blade lol

GT5:P (better yet GTPSP) > Forza3

Heavy Rain > Alan Waits

inFAMOUS > Crackdown (and soon to be crackdown2)

Undersiege > Halo Wars

Demons Soul > all rpg's on the turdfixme to date

White Knight Chronicles applys the finishing blow to the rpg genre.

Left for Dead1&2 = 2002 graphics, physics Turd

The Last Guardian > whole 360 library to date

LOL no matter what games the turdfixme has, the ps3 will always have a better quality title that embarrasses it. The toosh!ty really is the epitome of an outdated turd.

SPREAD THE NEWS. EDUCATE THE NOOBS!!!

The whole turdfixme knob squad are the bums of this console gen. No games to call your own on the poor mans console. I guess it's true when they say "you get what you pay for" lol. Epic fail on your behalf.

did they make these same promise last year and the years before that? How about they do it instead of talking about doing it.

ogwilson5428d ago

Every developer always makes the same promise, but it's usually not to the tune of them first saying they know their game sucks. +1 for that alone.

Supernatural245427d ago

Do they promise to speak correctly?!

ogwilson5427d ago

Lol Im sure they could if they really wanted to

Sixers Andre Iguodala Takes His Game to the Miami Heat

Since entering the NBA in 2004 after a stellar two seasons at the University of Arizona, Andre Iguodala (Philadelphia 76’ers) has emerged as the main attraction in Philly. The same fickle fan base that once cheered for Charles Barkley and Allen Iverson is now behind Iguodala as the Sixers take on the Miami Heat’s trio of LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade in the NBA Playoffs. Iguodala is a master at stealing the ball from opponents and has a solid all-around game, which helped turn the Sixers around in just a year and jettisoned them back into the hunt for a championship. Iguodala lists videogames as one of his hobbies, so when he’s not on the real court, he’s likely playing basketball or football on Xbox 360. The NBA star talks about his gaming habits in this exclusive interview.
