I'm still getting this game. I want to see for myself if lensoftruth is telling the truth. The PS3 is the lead version and it has this many issues.

The only way to know this for sure is to judge it for myself.

IMO, the 360 version looked sharper. Although for some weird reason it looked too dark in the video, hiding a lot of black detail.

Otherwise, it's true. The 360 version here is the better looking one.

Although, at least the frame rate of the PS3 version holds up.

I can withstand differences in sharpness, but I cant stand horrible frame rates and screen tearing.

I'm not too crazy about Gametrailer myself, but those actual game in motion (hd) and as other have said, differences are absolutely meaningless. They have to stop the game, and zoom in to spot those small differences, not something anybody would see while playing. No wonder that all the review didn't say anything about them being "different". And yes, also agree that Xbox is dark, and PS3 is lighter, but nothing you can't adjust to your liking on your tv set.

They look the same to me, only 1 is darker then the other. But i noticed that the PS3 version had far superior framerate at the section where the water is going down the stairs. The 360 version is lagging while the PS3 version is silky smooth.

Give the game a chance if you are a ghostbusters fan. It is without a doubt one of the best movie to game transition ever. this is pretty much Ghostbusters 3 except you are playing.

It is a very good game with multiplat graphics but the art design and setpieces are great.

these graphical comparisons aren't worth anything unless you actually plan on playing both versions of these games...at the same time.

It's not the same as say a difference in content where your friend can call you up and say "Did you see..." and you have to say "Uh...no I didn't".

The only people that even know there's a difference are the once who either saw one of these stupid comparisons or had to sit and listen to someone's rant that did. Otherwise I'm pretty sure the fun factor's gonna be the same no matter which way they buy.

No, the textures on the 360 look better! And there are some effects on the 360 lacking in the PS 3 version. The 360 has tearing.

I can see one big difference.

The setting: PS3 lighter (just adjust your brightness if you want it darker), 360 much darker (just adjust the brightness if you want it lighter).

I can´t understand why they don´t use the same brightness when they are comparing? IF one of the two is better, you can´t see it when they do this.

I agree that 360 seams more sharp, but it´s obvious that the lower brightness is the reason for that - not the textures.

Anyway, the 360 version is sharper... as usually the case with most multi-platform games. The darkness and lightness of both versions can easily be remedied with a few tweaks in the settings.

both versions arent much different. i guess seeing a game in motion is different than diseccting still pics. ps3's version isnt as bad as i thought it was going to be, but the 360's version has an edge in textures.

however, i did see something that compromises gameplay more than average graphics. call me crazy, but i think the 360 had a noticeable framerate drop when the water was pouring down the staircase. kind of makes me wonder if there are other parts of the game that has more frame drops during certain segments on the 360's version.

anywho, the issues for both versions are very minor. im sure it will be the same experience for both systems.

If you don't see the difference, even though clearly xbox is sporting higher res textures, there's no reason to watch *any* comparison. Personally, I'd go with PS3: I don't have an Xbox!.. ..but, come on guys, are you that blind?! The lens of truth sites credibility was not demolished. Just look at the ground textures. good news for ps3 owners after the lens of truth article. Not really much difference tbh except the light/dark issue we always seem to see in these comparisons. Theres an effect missing in the last scene in the 360 version but chances are it's a one off.

Are you guys crazy? Most of the time in this comparison they are zoomed out by at least 25% to show BOTH, full 16x9 screens. You can't tell anything from this distance. Then when they were close you in can see that the textures on the PS3 are clearly lower resolution. Not to mention there is an overall blur to everything on the PS3. I would have liked for them to focus on more objects like the Lens of Truth did.

Just play the game. i hate the mandatory install on the PS3, so this game will go to the 360 spin of hell. Also Prototype has mandatory install on PS3, and it also sucks. we had a midnight launch for GB. I had the it in the 360 and ps3 demo unit side by side.

I just watched the video and this is what xbutts have been hollering about for 2 days? unbelievable. Again as with all other comparisons the diferences is a matter of television settings.

Holy crap. I have a remote control that lowers brightness, raise color and contrast and fine tune sharpness. THis fckn comparison looks like the 360 version is played with the livingroom light off while they play the ps3 version with the light on.

I think this proves a couple of things.

Firstly this game was started on the PC/360 and then ported to PS3.

Yes the 360 does indeed look alot better, but slowdown galore and screentear. The water on the 360 is slowdown central.

I guess they should have dropped the res on the 360 version as well.

But most of all this proves the developers haven't really got to grips with the 360, let alone the PS3.
