THQ confirm Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts

Play.tm speculated over a week ago now that THQ and Relic were plotting a follow-up to the genre-refreshing WWII real-time strategy title Company of Heroes, and now the publisher has revealed that this is most assuredly the case. Hurrah!

A stand-alone follow-up called Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts is on the agenda, though the publisher seem to be shying away from describing the game as number '2' at the moment. As well as lashings of new Company of Heroes gameplay, we're informed that the game engine has been updated to make good use of DirectX 10.

What's more, each of those games (with the exception of one) have a sequel coming up, or did come out this year. Let's look at what exactly is offered here."

I would get it if I didn't already own all that interested me pretty much. I have Saints Row, Metro, and the GOOD Red Faction (Guerrilla). Not really interested in Company of Heroes... Darksiders interests me, but I'm not sure I really need it right now...

it's hell of a deal - 4 games (+2 expansions) for 1$ or 5 games for 5$
