TVGB: "Developer Semnat Studios has announced the release date for their samurai toaster whackfest, Eduardo the Samurai Toaster, today - June 15th. The game is a WiiWare exclusive and is priced at 800 Wii Points; "That's like the price of lunch," the press release argues."
Nintendo Okie writes: "Every once in a while a game comes along where just based on the title alone it seems like a homerun. Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is one of those games. Come on, you're a toaster who's a samurai. How could that not be cool? I can honestly say though, that after playing this game it does not live up to expectations."
Blast Magazine writes: "It is a shame that Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is not a great game, because Semnat Studios has a lot of talent on display in the audio and visual departments, and they also made it control as well as any of its predecessors in the genre. While those things on the periphery are in place, the core game itself is lacking. At just $8, it is not painful to your wallet, but you would be better served with the established classics in the field that are available for the same price on the same system".
Nintendojo: "Every once in a while a game comes along where, just based on the title alone, it seems like a home run. Eduardo the Samurai Toaster is one of those games. Come on, it's a toaster who's a samurai. How could that not be cool? Unfortunately, it isn't, and after a run through it is clear it does not live up to expectations."
