NWR writes: "Crash-Course Domo is part of the five game series of DSiWare games centering on the popular Domo character. In this game, Domo rides a bicycle in a race with countless other cyclists who serve as obstacles rather than opponents. The player must lead Domo to the finish line, avoiding the broken patches of pavement (a la ExciteBike for NES) while collecting coins and avoiding bicycle crashes."
The ratio of quality to filler on DSiWare may still be superior to that of iTunes, but the Domo games hurt the credibility Nintendo was gaining as a curator of an online games store that emphasized quality and value.
CheatCC says, "Nintendo, being as Japanese as it gets, had no problem in giving the green light for a group of small Domo-themed games to appear on DSiWare. Now we can all take Domo with us and make our wait at the dentist office a more pleasurable experience. Or will we end up greeting the doctor with a sour face and sweaty hands? I guess that all depends on which game(s) you get, and that's why I wanted to give you a heads up and let you know which of these Domo games are the most enjoyable."
Nintendo Life writes: "When you have mini-games like the Domo releases that are so simple in design and execution, it's difficult to review them as separate entities. Crash-Course Domo is basically a bicycle racing game that's extremely basic and easy to pick up, but features very little depth as a stand-alone title. That's not to say that it's a bad game, it's just not much of a game at all. But even at a paltry 200 Nintendo Points, is this little more than a glorified mini-game really worth your time and money?"
