It's a follow up to the prior Wii title, Tree of Tranquillity. Idk, man. I don't think creators should have to abide from a checklist to make everyone happy. People should be free to create something the way that they envision it. You certainly wouldn't want someone trying to dictate decisions you make in your life, which is what a lot of this stuff feels like when people try to force someone to do something.
Agreed. getting upset about them not including this is the same as getting upset that it was included in mass effect. Just let the devs create what they want and buy it if you want to play it.
But it takes nothing to add...it's different if you are forcing it into story driven games but something like Harvest Moon it's expected. Look at the Sims.

Hardcore Gamer: Natsume, best known as the developers of the Harvest Moon series, have a special fondness for plush animals. Whenever a new game comes out, they always make sure to pair it with one of their adorable plushes as a pre-order bonus.
There are no actual parades. Sorry to disappoint. Go watch the Putt-Putt video, there’s a parade in that one.
