Yep, very bad visuals here. Alan Wake looks decent but honestly it could've been much better had they designed it for PC alone.

Hmmm... not a lot of crap happening around on these screen shots compared to R2. But it seems like it'll be 4-player co-op? That'd be nice.

... Your desperation comes across very loud and clear. You guys know MS's show was pretty average but you're all FORCING yourselves to act like it was THE BEST THING EVA!!!!

I mean look at this game. If it came out in the 1st year of the console I wouldn't even mention anything but this is year 4. Alan Wake comes out and graphically looks no better than the like of Alone in the Dark and you people claim it's slaughtered Killzone 2, Uncharted2 and Heavy Rain which only a blind mad man would find hard to believe.

Where are all the in-house exclusives; where are the new IPs; where hot DLable game; where is the graphical power house exclusive; where is the "never been seen like this before" moments? Just more halo/gears mix up a seemingly insanely hyped long awaited game and more multiplat announcements.

You people have been duped by MS and you keep blindly following mediocrity. You guys aren't gamers, you people are insane.

This expansion is a bit on the ho-hum drum in terms of graphics. Alan Wake is recognized as being cool by me. However, visuals ... meh not so much. There's not much in the way of ground breaking at the moment. More the story and production values being top notch in my opin.

Actually Chief was at the Battle of Reach, from the conference it looks like your going to be playing a Spartan 3 Solider based on the S229 (I think that was) designation. Spartan 3s don't have the armor and all the augments like Spartan 2s (Master Chief) so they are are inferior to the Spartan 2's but superior ODSTs. They made a little over a 1000 of the Spartan 3's but they got assigned all the impossible missions and got wiped out resulting in few of them remaining.

Even though, I'm glad you're not playing as Chief that's what I mean. I'm really tired of Chief, and much more interested in the deeper story of Halo.

Your comparing a game witch has a comic book art style to one that has a realistic art style, makes a lot since. Did you people think Halo was all the sudden going to change art styles and look realistic.
As with Halo 3 it looks amazing for the art style they use.
