E3 2009 Event Schedule

PSP World:

Next week, representatives from the press, video game publishers, hardware manufacturers and the public will descend upon the South and West halls of the Los Angeles Convention Center for the world's largest video game consumer show. Some of the biggest news of the year will be revealed over the course of the four-day-long event, and we don't want readers to miss out on any of it. You can stay on top of all of the press releases, announcements, and keynote presentations here at the GameFlavor Network, but we have provided a calendar below so that you won't miss a single important event on the E3 schedule.

I'm expecting some COD6 exclusive DLC (atleast timed exclusive) from either MS or Sony.

why is it that MS gets the whole one day to themselves while Nintendo and Sony has to share? It happened last time, but is it got to do with who has the most to show?

They can't get the whole day to themselves, even if they tried. Too many other developers / publishers will be there on the same day. Thing is, Microsoft's idea of "stealing a show" is to go first, announce something everyone saw coming, and then brag about it after. Sony usually has the most to announce. They don't need to go first, as they're not worried about the competition.

I think in this case first is better, because if Microsoft unveils motion controls on the Xbox 360, then Sony's presser will seem less exciting.

Im sorry not impressed by that motion camera when sony has alrdy shown that insane tech demo with the fish tank not to mention with the little creature. If sony announces psp go or something i will be happy some more uncharted gameplay or Jaffe coming on stage saying f*ck you all and here is the trailer for twisted metal for the ps3. I also find it funny that 360 *fans* think 2009 begins after e3 instead of in january.

Thats the most ridiculous thing I'v heard, console wars are fought on a year by year basis now. Console war strategies are adjusted in almost real time depending on the competition's offerings and success.

Example: MSFT says nothing about their lineup for 2009 to maximizing the hype during the biggest E3 in years because of the revitalization of E3 because of it being scaled down knowing PS3 will have a price cut.

I guess it is more comforting to post this info from a Sony source with a PS3 fanboy spin on the news.

I think this year I'll be tuning into all 3 shows but I'm looking forward to Microsoft's the most as the 360 is my console of choice. Rare is also my favorite developer and what do ya know Microsoft owns them =D so yeah I'm expecting good things.

Being first has pros/cons for example both Sony and Microsoft have rumored motion controllers in the works so if Microsoft announces theirs first the majority of people will shrug off Sony's unveiling BUT if Sony somehow has some universally praised IP they have kept secret and they wait until the end of the show they could take the whole thing (unlikely considering Sony has played the majority of it's cards while Microsoft is holding back).

I own a PS3 and am only looking forward to Kingdom Hearts 3 and Twisted Metal neither of which have been announced.

Either way I'm sure it'll be a good show

most likely alot of sh!t talking come first day on microsofts keynote and pissed fanboys.

2nd day is nintendo's time while gamers are playing online and powning untill the sony keynote is up then the sh!ting in the pants,crying and EXCITMENT begins.

BTW arnt they gunna stream E3 thru HOME or something???
