GameZone writes: "Fantasy Aquarium World is a decent type of application for the Wii, but it is a bit of a stretch to label it a true simulation game. Think of it as a screen saver, instead. The main question is whether it is worth $30 to turn the TV into a fish tank. I would say yes if the tank looked cooler that it does, but as it is, I'm not sure about the price/enjoyment factor. Best for people with a large flat-screened TV and who really like fish screen savers".

WTP writes: "After finishing each set of challenges, a new aquarium is unlocked. These are divided into basic House Tanks, fancier Tower Tanks and finally Fantastic Tanks, which can house even likes of the Lochness Monster. The lasting power of these aquariums and the game on the whole depends on how much patience's and desire players have to maintain each aquarium across days, weeks and perhaps even months".
