TeamXbox writes: "When I started playing Gel: Set & Match for this review, it wasn't really sparking me. I was struggling a bit with all of the gameplay concepts-which has similarities to (but is still vastly different from) a lot of the "Match-3" and other object-matching games-and the controls were tripping me up now and again. Another hurdle was that it seemed to look like a more child-oriented version of the popular puzzle-game genre, but it definitely didn't play like it was aimed at kids."

If you are a fan of puzzle titles and want something to play around with for a few minutes then this game will certainly be worth a look. NowGamer: Gel: Set & Match Review

Puzzle games work best when they're so simple that you can tell what's going on just by looking at the screen. The general idea here is to set small coloured blocks of gel disintegrating in a colourful range of scenarios and levels. Your little alien is forced to run around and clear paths, score points, explode obstacles all with the blocks. The trick is to start as many chain reactions as possible and it's extremely fun.
