I am itching to play this game. Pity my holiday in the States ends just short of E3.

I thought Samantha was the resident Mass Effect Junkie

CrAppleton5485d ago

I thought she was the resident Mass Effect fan as well

CrAppleton5485d ago

I'm ready for this one! Can't wait to play through it and see how much better it is

CrAppleton5485d ago

I loved the first one.. actually.. I might go back and play through it again

Kaecyus5485d ago

You might discover something new in your playthrough. That's the beauty of the game.

ammonator5485d ago

I know what you mean. I'm playing through it for a third time on the PC. It's amazing how good the game really is.

Neco5125485d ago

Yeah, it's different every time! I love ME

supercharger51505485d ago

I've never played it because I'm not really a fan of futuristic stories, I prefer the past, but the way everyone talks about this- maybe I'll give it a try.

Kaecyus5485d ago

You should! It's dirt cheap now. Although if you have the choice, get it for the 360. ME on the PC was right in the middle of EA's DRM debacle.

"I started playing games yesterday" the List... Meh!

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave46d ago (Edited 46d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
